In January, 2013, Dave accepted the position of CEO of Neibauer Unlimited, LLC, a private equity firm. Previously, Dave was a Partner Development Manager for Collaboration at Cisco Systems, and was in the telecom industry since 1998. He grew up in his family’s water well-drilling business. During these careers, Dave enjoyed building partnerships with customers. Dave has been a “cheerleader,” inspiring people to accomplish great things.
In 2008, as the international missions director for New Hope Adventist Church, Dave and Caryn, his wife, had taken a team of 40 to Mozambique to drill water wells and provide medical care and food to people in remote villages. Soon after, Dave met Charles and Gigi Lemorzellec, and he led his first trip to Eden Garden in May 2009. The experience in Montrouis was so moving that Dave was compelled to lead more mission teams there. He was asked to chair the Board in 2011.
Dave heads fundraising and coordinates projects and trips from the U.S., as well as working to provide safe water and improving sanitation and hygiene. “I’ve seen the impact that healthier food, clean water, medical care, and education can have on an orphanage and a community,” Dave says. “I believe that each person can make a difference, and that together, we can make things just a little better for our kids and for Montrouis – and ultimately for Haiti.”
